Free credit report Information
How to improve credibility?
For each free credit report, or any American person, who is living in the United States, financial information will be collected in three independent agencies about his behavior. As with the German SCHUFA, these data are stored and can be accessed by financial institutions, banks and companies with the available help of the Social Security Number. For persons in the U.S. who has never taken a credit and conscientiously paid, no data are available. Therefore, these people are not creditworthy. They will receive no credit or a credit with high interest rate risk.
It looks equally bad for the creditworthiness when payments were not made on time or had to be reminded. Through outdated information, wrong entry of the agencies or by fraud, the credit report can also be inaccurate. With a bad credit report it can make the purchase of a property difficult.
If a credit application has been refused, a Free credit report may be requested within 60 days for the credit agencies. In some countries there is also a statutory right to a free credit report per year. These free credit reports should absolutely request because false entries in serious financial occasions can damage your credit worthiness. For example, a real estate purchase can be impossible. To request a free credit report all three agencies should be contacted. The free credit report is sent usually within 1-2 weeks. If there are incorrect entries, the credit agency should be notified with a writing as soon as possible and registration will be corrected. Who still has no credibility, has to build slowly by time.
